It can be hard to figure out where to begin while developing a children’s book. How do you build a world and its characters? How do you make them engaging for children, while offering valuable stories and life lessons? In this full-day workshop, join Matt Chun as he guides you through the process of creating rich imagination in children’s books. You’ll have the chance to ask Matt about publishing in the industry and receive feedback about your writing and idea.
Attendees will get 30 minutes for a lunch break.
Matt Chun is an artist and writer. His work spans drawing, essay, comics, and picture books. He is one half of the collaborative project UnMonumental, alongside artist James Tylor. He is also co-founder and former editor of The Sunday Paper.
