Event Description

Cardinia Shire Council and Casey Cardinia Libraries will be hosting a free beginners compost and worm farm workshop. Learn about compost, worm farms and digesters and how they can help you reduce your waste. Discover the benefits of compost, how to choose the best system for your household and how to get started. Learn how residents can claim up to $50 for a new system with our Waste Reduction Rebates.

This workshop is free, however registration is required.

*Please note*
This online workshop will replace all in-person composting workshops planned for June. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the face to face events at Emerald library, Koo Wee Rup Eco house and Pakenham library will no longer be running. Instead you can join us online as we discover the benefits of composting, worm farms and digesters and how they can help you reduce your household waste! Learn how to choose the best system for your household and how to get started. The presentation will go for one hour with time for questions after.
