We all think we know what a story is but why do some stories excite us, while others leave us cold? Great storytellers understand what readers want and they deliver.
In this workshop, you will learn the top tips to writing a story. Get these fundamentals right and you've got a great chance of creating an engaging story. Get them wrong and you have no chance.
This session will be hosted by Nicolas Brasch; a writer, teacher, workshop facilitator and festival director. He is the author of more than 400 books (mainly for children and young adults) for many leading international publishers, several of which have won Australian and international awards. He also teaches professional and creative writing at Swinburne University.
