Event Description
Voice is one of the most important elements of writing. It is a key factor that draws readers to the work, yet it can be hard to define. This workshop with Katherine Kovacic will examine aspects of a writers voice and explore how it shapes the story. Through discussion, analysis, and guided exercises, participants will be encouraged to find and develop the voice in their own writing, regardless of genre.
Katherine Kovacic is a Melbourne-based writer with many voices. She is the author of the award-winning Alex Clayton art mystery series and the true crime book, The Schoolgirl Strangler. Katherine also novelised Every Cloud Productions television series, Ms Fishers Modern Murder Mysteries, bringing the character of Peregrine Fisher from screen to page in Just Murdered (August 2021).
