Event Description

We invite twenty young people (15 25 yrs) to meet-up and hang-out with Flourish, a Youth Food Security Network across Cardinia Shire that are Growing Minds and Gardens. Flourish, who will be hosted by Lisa Brassington in the Pakenham Library wellbeing space, will share highlights of the last year and invite conversation about the challenges, success and future opportunity of meaningful participation of young people in their local food system. The group talk will look at how educating young people, activating physical food spaces, advocating for, and empowering young people to work together we can create a better future food system.
