Event Description

Join us as we welcome actor and former professional footballer Aaron Fa’Aoso, in conversation with biographer Michelle Scott Tucker, as they discuss Aaron's forthcoming memoir 'So far, So Good'.

Aaron’s story is about what it means to be a successful Indigenous man in the twenty-first century: about pushing back against ignorance, racism, and inter-generational trauma. It’s not just the story of one man – it’s the story of a place, a culture and a community that is too often missing from mainstream Australian narratives.

Aaron is an incredible storyteller and performer, with a career that has included starring in ABC’s hit series Black Comedy, and producing documentary series Blue Water Empire. In So Far, So Good he is charming, vulnerable, and honest about the struggles he has faced.

Copies of So Far, So Good will be available for purchase and signing on the night.
