Event Description

The Archibald Prize is coming to Bunjil Place! Join us for an exciting 3-week workshop in celebration of all things portraiture. Participants will learn the basics of portrait painting, which will culminate in participants creating their own masterpiece in acrylic.
Neloo Kreltszheim will be your teacher and guide. She is an award-winning artist, who has studied a wide range of art media and specialises in acrylics and pencil. She is the author of the book “ The Humble Pencil” which may be borrowed from the library.

Participants are required to bring:
A4 or A3 cartridge or water colour pad (not sketch pads)
Set of 8-10 acrylic tube paints
3 round brushes- large (8 to 10), medium (7-5) and small (4-2)
A small rag or an old singlet
Eraser
Shading stick (optional)
